I had not really considered playing The Long Dark but that video did spark my interest.

Long Dark in survival mode is second only to Subnautica in my opinion. The challenges are really really great as well. I’m not too hot on story mode, but the rest of the game is A+. In LD survival mode, you build up your map knowledge, which helps you survive longer on the next play through. It’s a nice loop for the game, as you are always ‘progressing’ even though you are starting over. The different difficulty levels are also really fantastic and offer a really varied experience.

Long Dark survival mode is a game everyone should play, it’s pretty great.

Anyone, anyone? Make for the QT3 community the Subnautica game we all want! Of course with feedback from QT3 forum. :D

How well does thin crust, or even deep dish, hold up underwater?

I wonder if Unknown Worlds could afford the Gilmore Girls license?

Subnautica just got a big update that supposedly fixes a ton of bugs and backports a few features from Below Zero.

Wow that’s wonderful! Now I should finish the game.

Thats amazing - Its really what everyone always craves from sequels, but which never happens. Backporting.

Dude, even leaving the option for, “legacy,” for people who want things as-is in the game is pretty amazingly thought out. Nice work by their team, that’s a TON of bug fixing.

  • Fixed VR frame lag in PDA UI screen movement
  • Fixed a VR issue with player orientation being slanted in some scenarios
  • Fixed Sunbeam countdown timer not showing up in VR
  • Fixed VR Main Menu prompts on selecting and interacting with the menu
  • Improved performance

This part is nice, given the VR mode always felt like an afterthought they abandoned later.
