Q: Who can I challenge, and with what team?
A: Anyone you want, and with any team! You do not have to post your challenges; we will assume that if you challenge another player in the league, then the game counts. However, if you wish to avoid mirror matches (where each player chooses the same team), you may announce your challenge and two teams that you might play. Your opponent should pick one of the remaining six teams. Winners should report the results in bold, including which race won the match.
Q: Is the list ranked?
A: Only in a ballpark way.
Q: Will there be a winner?
A: There will! We will have a brief playoff at the end of the month, and crown a champion. The final day for making challenges is the morning of September 25 at 2:45am.
Q: Why is there a maximum number of wins with each team?
A: Because you can do it! I believe in you!
Q: How will we be rated at the end of the month?
A: Your final ranking will be the total of your wins minus your losses, with the following badges applied:
[+4] Pull off a win with four different races - [+6] for all races
[+3] Be the first to nine wins with a certain race
[+2] Win a game against last month's champion, Pacman
[+1] Win a game against last month's runner-up, Boojum
Q: How do the playoffs work?
A: The top six players (who have played at least eight games) by ranking (with ties broken by most recent match between the parties) will play each other in the usual ranked way (#1 vs #6, and so on), with the higher seed choosing to make the challenge or be challenged. The three winners will then play each other, and if one player wins both games, that player is champion. If there is a three-way tie, then the highest ranked person is champion.
I’m out, too. The game is just not grabbing me like I thought it would. Maybe after I mess around with deck building a bit more I’ll throw my hat back in the ring. I’m definitely up for the Trifecta tournament if that ever materializes.
Yeah, these were effing bad. And not at the end of the game, either, where there might be some narrative and excitement. This last game ended in round 4.
Nice game, I don’t think I have seen anyone else use Halvor before. Who was your third champion? I was worried about Thorkur or Gror coming out, but apparently didn’t need to be ;)
Hereafter (goblin) becomes Pacman (jungle elves) worst nightmare again
+2 for defeating last month champ
The last 2 rounds was unfortunate for you Pacman. You had 8 dices in my summoner and only scored 3 hits. I had the same amount and hit the same amount. In your position I think you choose the best course of action.
