Ha. I cannot imagine this. We usually have a guy at the table who whips out his phone and hits boardgamegeek immediately to check the boards. If that fails he emails the designer. Sometimes we have competing phone vs. iPad searches for the rule ruling going on at the table at once. At this point I generally get up to get a beer. Even if I already have one open.
I know. Yikes!
Also, we’ve instituted a new way of determining which game we will play. We put the games that are in contention on the table, then we vote Werewolf-style on which game we want to play. That is, we vote the way you kill someone at the end of Werewolf. Everybody holds up a finger and someone counts to three. At three each player points simultaneously to her game of choice.
