Maybe the reason they’re sex offenders in the first place is that they can’t get it up. Someone should do a study on the effects of Viagra and other impotence drugs on previous sex offenders’ committal of further sex crimes. Maybe giving them Viagra allows them an escape from the “offender” part of sex.
What next? Will you want to legalize pot for medicinal use? Where will it end?
The situation came about because of “rules”. Prisoners in general were provided with Medicaid. And then at some point , Viagra became listed as one of the Medicaid eligible drugs. Mix the two together, and voila, you get an unintended consequence.
