Tell us what pictures you have taken recently (that are interesting)

Powerful Owl with what’s left of a ringtail possum. These are the largest owls in Australia. Their numbers have been increasing as baiting of foxes has resulted in an increase in possum numbers.

Terry’s Creek, Epping, Sydney

Eastern Water Dragons, also from around Terry’s Creek, Epping, Sydney.

Palace of Fine Arts in SF.

Smallest turtle I’ve ever seen. Little guy was walking on my driveway.

Awww!

A little fellow I spotted just splashing around in a local creek. He (she) stayed with me for about an hour and came within a couple of feet while I stood quietly. Even in Australia not something you see every day.

Like!You go girl!

Man, every time I see one it’s driven home again that the platypus is one weird creature! Looks mostly beaver-ish in those shots. Nice work!

Nice pics!

If there’s anything better than seeing a 65 ton Abrams tank go flying over a 3 foot berm and firing while airborne I have yet to see it. Definitely the cover of my book this year!

Love that owl pic Simonout!

Here was the morning version of same tank jumping the berm:

Wow, they are lovely clear photos! Which creek?
I met a platypus on the Thredbo river while trout fishing early in the morning. They are absolutely delightful.

https://youtu.be/LjrMYbozdEY Mountain River Tasmania just before it meets the Huon, plenty of trout to but its out of season.

I’ve never been super impressed with the quality I was getting out of the 80-400. That changed Saturday with the Ocean City Air show. Combo of D500 and the 80-400 was INCREDIBLE. Very happy with how these came out. Only half edited so far, Blue Angels and F-22 Raptor to follow.

Wow, amazing @Kadath. This stuck out to me:

That chrome surface makes it look airbrushed and unreal!

Thank you, it’s a really cool plane!

Blue Angels added to the set.
