Awesome, love spotting those

Decreases the likelihood of them ever appearing in a JJ Abrams movie.

I’m in San Francisco this week and just now as some rain blew through I got a one in a million photo of a rainbow across Sutro Tower.

I picked up a Mamiya C220 6x6 TLR recently and shot a few test rolls downtown. It makes for a nice walking around camera, and might become my go-to for when I don’t want to lug a backpack full of gear around.

Wow, those are very nice! I am impressed. They just feel ‘retro’ in some way, like you took the pictures in another decade.

That’s more or less the truth. The camera is from the mid-70s. Nothing special about the B&W film I used, but the color film is CineStill 800T, which is repurposed motion picture film stock. The color temperature is balanced for tungsten lighting, which tends to give the shots a greenish-blue hue under other lighting conditions.

A few more:

Wow, I love the colors on those @anonymgeist. Those look great.

The one of the sunset (I assume) is my favorite, great work!

Those are so cool, you have a great eye.

I was thinking this morning, I might try to do some Before & After pics of downtown Seattle with my own photographs, and the photo mode in The Last of Us 2. Could be a fun project.

It most certainly would, and I bet the people who made Last of Us 2 would greatly appreciate it, so be sure to send them a link.

He does, truly an artists’ eye.

Not as interesting as other work posted here, but here are some ducks squatting on a line on a submerged ledge.

Glad to see you’ve got all your ducks in a row!

Them ducks are geese!

I’m about to scan a whole stack of photoalbums so I’ll finally have digital copies of them.
Any advice regarding this sort of residue/dirt on the pics? (looks like its from the sleeves in the booklet)

Either repair digitally? painstakingly using clone/repair seems very time consuming.
or is there some cleaning solution that I could use in the pics themselves?

I finally got around to sending another batch of rolls off to the lab.

Oh, nice. I really like the Nighthawks vibe in the restaurant photo.

The alley, the lone diner and the boats are my favourites. Excellent work @anonymgeist ! Thanks for sharing.

I’m in Costa Rica

I wish I had a nice camera with shutter and aperture settings, and maybe HDR capability, but I have to make do with my crappy phone. Doesn’t hold a candle to reality.

Here’s a really bad photo of a baby bat stretching while clinging to mama
