A few more holiday snaps. Italy is pretty.

Shot I took of my piece of Gus Grissom’s Mercury Capsule, in honor of the anniversary of the Apollo 1 fire.

So the wife and I went to Cocoa Beach today. And there was a very pleasant pelican there. He (she?) liked to hang around and let you take pictures of her (him?):

These are with my iPhone. No zoom used. The last one was right before I petted the bird. It was a very laid back pelican.

Nice Pelican!

Yup that’s exactly where this was taken. I think I’m in the highway median (it’s pretty wide).

I’ve been either busy or sick last few weekends (or the weather has sucked) so haven’t really had a chance to go out and shoot stuff. So yeah, back to looking at older shots.

This is a panorama of 4 shots of Infineon Raceway in Napa:

SNAKES!

Quiet flows the Cuyahoga:

The one with the boats look almost unreal. Like, ghost ships or photoshop or something. Spooooky.

More oldies!

Slightly re-did this shot of the eastern Sierra Nevada with Mount Whitney; more details stand-out in this one:

Nice, in that case you can see my sisters house in that photo (in theory). I’ve spent a lot of time in the past year or so between Reno and Bishop, so I was pretty sure I knew the spot.

And as always, your pics make me want to get out and travel more. Beautiful, all over.

Those are great pics, Alan.

Took this:

… Well, OK, I drew it. But whatever. :)

Not had a chance to do anything recently re pictures, had the flu for a month and the weather has been awful.

Took these today, was very cold and windy there. Both are HDR and I have processed them deliberately dark to give it the feel of what it was like, they are almost almost underexposed by 1.0.

Tourist Photos.

Had a business meeting in London today, 6 hours there and back for a 70 minute meeting. Anyways it was at Canary Wharf and my Train stop was right outside these two.

In my third day of attempting to get Comet PanSTARRS photos I finally got some.

— Alan

Those are pretty pictures, even disregarding the comet.

Fog in SF always makes for some interesting imagery.

More of Comet PanSTARRS from tonight:

I was in San Diego this weekend. Needless to say, pictures were taken.

Still heavy going here in the Uk, rain, snow, windy and wild but today was a little better. Trip to Corfe Castle for an Easter Egg Hunt.
