I really love this shot Reemul! It looks like a watercolor painting.

Thanks, it pretty much looked like that as well, quite surreal at the time

Awesome shots, Reemul!
Hopefully, next year will be Southern England as our yearly 8 day vacation spot so I can visit all those great looking castles!

Embarassing really raz, that’s not a castle, it’s my house, the wife is poor at housekeeping and that’s what’s happened ;)

Don’t normally do any sort of birding as the Nex 7 isn’t really up to it, what with contrast focusing and limited length lenses. However today was my little ones 3rd birthday and he wanted to visit Blashford Lakes and do the Nature and wildlife education centre which does a kids days once a month. S he got to build bird nests and look around and I got to spend an hour in a bird hide with my camera. All shots are through tinted glass which made things tough but some came out ok.

Took my Canon S100 on a trip to Arizona last week. Not a great sensor compared to my DSLR, but it does shoot RAW, and its automatic bracketing option is useful for HDR shots. (It has a built-in HDR function, but it’s useless without a tripod.)
Anway, here are a couple of HDR shots from the Grand Canyon and Sedona. The HDR may feel overdone on these, but the color intensity actually reflects what these scenes look like: Both locations are amazing at sunrise/set.

Amazing! We’re in Utah this week. Hope to get some shots at Arches tomorrow!
More from the San Diego Zoo:
This river otter and the monkey? Not friends.
Getting a pic of this guy was extremely hard.

Trip to London today with teh family, we visited the Natural History Museum, London Eye and Sea Life Centre, the weather was dull, dank and dark all round but a good time had, here is a few I like which came out well.
Taken inside the Natural History Museum.

This one was taken from near the top of the London Eye. Was quite reflective and 20 odd people in teh pod made it difficult to get much useable but this one works best in BW.

New Camera Pic! I haven’t really had a chance to play with it much, since I’m still doing some reading about what to do with it, but I was able to use my favorite model. I wish I could take credit for the depth of field there, but it’s all auto, baby!

Slightly different this time, visit to a local stately home 15 minutes up the road. 3 shots with some Lightroom experimentation here.

I was out plowing a garden today and had to fix a plow on my tractor. Somehow I’d thrown a metal clip that holds a link pin. At any rate I caught some pics of this little fellow that came out under the tractor. Although I am not afraid of snakes, they do tend to startle you if you aren’t expecting them.

Very nice, Alan. Such a gorgeous city.
This is actually a shot I took in 2005, in horrible conditions, but I recently processed it. Aero Union is now out of business.
