I had something similar, lasted about 36 hours. Only vomiting (violent, painful vomiting) but nothing else. I blamed some romaine lettuce because the recall happened a few days later. I kept the weight off, though!

H.

Phone interview ahoy! I’ll take it as a good sign that they got back to me the same day I sent in my application. I’m also slightly perplexed as to why they want a phone interview when I live in the same city, but whatever!

…it’s because they’re only doing a basic, initial screening, to make sure you’re worth taking the time to bring in for an in-person conversation. It’s a lot easier to cut things short if it’s immediately obvious it’s a bad fit when you’re on the phone.

You can probably do five to ten phone interviews in the amount of time it takes to do an in-person interview.

Good luck!

DAWWWWWWWWWWW… that is such a sweet photo. :)

It is very sweet. And Marged’s hair is so beautiful . . . it’s the fairy princess hair I always wished I had as a little girl. :)

I saw extarbags’ hair and glasses and from what I’d seen from the QT3 Gallery Of Awesome People, immediately thought “Why’s she posting a picture of Bill Dungsroman snogging some gal?”

If you have to ask, you don’t know Bill Dungsroman very well.

I’ll give you a friendly little hint about how it all fits together Mightynute. That’s not a picture of Bill Dungsroman snogging some random gal, that’s a picture of Bill Dungsroman snogging Marged during the wedding ceremony. He went on to snog extarbags AND the minister, who promptly fainted. Don’t worry though, the minister was revived and is just fine. No word yet on extar’s condition.

Oh my god, extar supertasted Bill!

See, I thought that was also likely.

HE CAN SEE FOREVER!

I am employed again. And very excited about the position.

My parents were there a few years back with my brother and sister. They said the one thing that is a must in the Vatican is to get a tour guide to show you around for a few hours. You get them near the private apartment’s of the Vatican. They’re not just teenagers reading of a script, if you get the proper Vatican ones, they’re historians who have specialised in some way in the Vatican. They’re expensive precisely because they’re not teenagers reading off a script. My parents had a guy doing his PhD on Vatican history and he was funding it by doing a few days work as a guide. You’ll have about 15 people in a group, probably of well-to-do interested people, so you avoid the gawpers wandering around. It’s meant to be well worth it because there’s so much history to the place, that reading plaques won’t do.

Congrats!

Congrats Siren! That must be such a huge relief.

Wait, so Bill is actually Lord Flashheart?

Great, now I’ll be mentally punctuating all of Bill’s posts with “Let’s do-o-o-oooo it!”

Sorry for the lateness, but thanks to everyone who offered congratulations/well-wishes/comparisons to Bill D.

Last night I did a walk-through of a house, something like the fifteenth or eighteenth one. It was built in 1974, as was I. (Well, technically, I was started in 1973.) This morning I got approved for pre-approval (heh) of a VA mortgage. About an hour ago I put an offer on my first home. I’m supposed to hear back by noon tomorrow. Official freakout started about seven minutes ago.

There’s a sudden outbreak of employment in the QT3 ranks! Congratulations, even more so that it sounds like you’ve got something you want to do :)
