I’m REALLY surprised that no one got the joke I made above. See… I referred to her as my “wife,” and then I said, that the difference between a wife and a girlfriend is that you have sex with a girlfriend.

But she’s not your wife. She’s your girlfriend. So those of us who were reading it with the common, not-Rimbo’s-audience* understanding of English, it read like as if you were once again crowing about your supposedly fantastic sex life with the person who is not your wife.

Nice backpedal, though. It’s always good to fall back on insults when you make a mistake, because that’s always worked so well for you in the past.

And out of sheer curiosity, who is your audience? Besides women who don’t speak English very well, I mean.

As I was reading this thread Plenty of Fish sent me an e-mail with “New Matches for November 9”. Coincidence? (Yes!)

I have a new excuse for not dating currently, as I’m knee-deep in NaNoWriMo and that’s tying up a lot of my free time. But admittedly, it’s just an excuse. I’m beginning to think I’m carrying a torch for “just a friend” which is not good. I’m still calling him to see if we’re on for 2012 next weekend because we’re both unashamed disaster porn fans and how rare is it to find someone who will willingly go to a Roland Emmerich movie with you?

Let me offer this to the Qt3 hoi polloi because I’m curious as to what constitutes a good profile. I realize tastes vary and most of you guys aren’t planning on dating men (more for me, lol etc.) but here’s a profile I came across recently. I won’t say what I think of it (yet) but I’d like to hear from others.

That’s an interesting profile. The guy sounds nice and intelligent. He didn’t go for zany, a good thing in my book, but he still managed to sound a bit different.

I mean, I got it. That might not be a good sign, though.

Possibly I will have horror stories soon. I was feeling very sad and lonely on Saturday and commenced to a massive assault on the OKCupid female members community in my area of the country, with some preliminary results. We shall see what madness grows from the tree of my insanity.
