He knew that.

Dude, really?

I can honestly say that I’ve never been in league with Aaron on anything. He wouldn’t even accept my FB friend request :\

-staggers in horrified shock-

To be fair, though, isn’t one place to bug each other online enough? :)

Now that I’ve had this explained to me: no. Absolutely not. Promise.

With an additional blade for extra closeness?

Well it was a little hurtful. I’d put on my special gimp suit and taken a profile picture just for him.

You can’t PM photos? :)

Nope, only links. Every time I upload them somewhere they get removed over some vague “terms of service” bullcrap. I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about.

Good Lord, why does this thing keep telling me I’m trying to post a link? I’m not, honest.

This completes your lesson on the art of postcount++ as performed by Kraaze.

If you ever need to buff your postcount again, let me know. Next time we are discussing mens underwear though.

I practically never check Facebook. I only go there to accept friend requests when people PM me or email me asking me to do so. ;P

Congrats Ned!

Echoing what Kael said, this has worked out really well for my fiance and I. She was very much the opposite of me on many levels but we shared the same core values and life goals and were very compatible where it counted. We have complimented each other very nicely and have both grown a ton as a result. (We met online which is why I was attracted to this thread. Now I lurk because people’s dating adventures are interesting.)

Anyway, good luck!

I have never met this man, I don’t know him and I have never casually browsed his underwear drawer while he was in the bathroom.

Okay, I am officially exiting this thread as soon as we start talking about men’s underwear. Adios, amigos!

Should I have said sock drawer? I should have said sock drawer. Damn.

Ok…so a friend of my wife’s turned us onto AdultFriendFinder…compared to OKC this is like going from 1st grade to college. Holy shit this is crazy.

However, it is not all wine and roses over there. I really need to be about 15 years older and my wife needs to be 20 years older. We keep getting hits with friend invites from 50+ year old couples mostly.

Oh and do any of you guys no what “LL” is? From what I gather it is some matching site like OKC or AFF. It was mentioned to me in an email I got from one of those couples.

Lavalife?

That’s still around?

I’ve noticed it a lot in this age group as well. I’m a few years older (OK, I’m 34) and started back at school last year, and it seems a lot of the girls this age mention Palahniuk as their favorite writer, or one of their favorites. I think it has to do with them being 11-13 years old when Fight Club came out (maybe seeing it a year or two later), getting all moony over Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, then reading more from him. It really struck me as strange too.

I think he’s a more current “edgy, hip” version of what Hunter S. Thompson was maybe a while back. They claim them as a favorite to sound intellectual and interesting.
