Well my tuition as an Ontario resident at an Ontario university about 15 years ago was over $3k and it would have been around $4k for my second year. Quebec might not be the best province to use as a barometer here.

At my local university tuition is $400 per course plus books and a few extra fees, about $2400 if you’re taking a full course load. That’s about $5k for two semesters, expect to spend around $8k to maybe 10k total for those 2 semesters. This is at a fairly well respected Canadian University, though definitely more higher mid tier.

Fuck, I go to an in state public school and my tuition is 8k a year, with room and board being 10k while I lived on campus.

Again that was years ago. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if tuition here was up around $8k now. I just checked my old school’s site, comp sci tuition is just over $7500 for the first year domestic students, it’s almost $20k for international students. So it’s not really that different here now.

Right, you can also see that by the prevalence of “red sox” on the profiles of white females vs males. I’m pretty sure that given equal distribution of locations between the sexes, if people were actually just indicating what they like, the sox would be much more prevalent amongst guys, but a lot of girls want to represent themselves as “one of the guys” and that’s an easy way to do it.

It’s contagious in Boston. You can’t help it. Bahimiron never cared about baseball (why would he, what with the Royals! BURRRRN!) and when he came here he got all caught up in Red Sox Nation. I always thought it was a stroke of marketing genius to start making the shirts and hats in pink. I wonder how well those sell compared to the regular colors.
