Not quite horrific, but a bit WTF… I went to dinner and a movie with a nice older single Mom, we had a nice dinner. Then went to see The Hangover, had a blast, sat in her truck chatting, and got a nice hug and parted ways. The next day, I called her and mentioned I had a had a great time and that I hoped we could spend some more time together becaused I enjoyed her company. She promptly said I was too intense and that she couldn’t handle that kind of intensity this early in a relationship.

A tad gunshy maybe? I have no idea what happened there, I suppose some folks would rather date aloof non-complimentary people, no clue.
