That’s honestly quite a surprise. 538.com doesn’t much like exit polls http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2008/11/ten-reasons-why-you-should-ignore-exit.html but I’m willing to concede that I might be wrong about the amount of votes that went to Perot instead of Bush as opposed to Clinton, since I don’t really have anything better to go off of than the exit polls quoted on Wikipedia and no theory as to why they might be wrong.
