Well, Saban seems like an evil robot who might go on a killing spree if he loses and Miles seems like he might not know what year it is (I might be exaggerating for effect). So I’m pulling for LSU.

I do think Alabama looked better than LSU in their first meeting, even though the scoreboard (barely) didn’t reflect that.

I know you guys hate watching teams that can can actually play defense play each other, yet roll up countless points against the weaker sisters of the NCAA.

Nothing I said had anything to do with offense vs. defense. They both contributed to helping a team win.

Also, I’d say the Big XII was a stronger conference then the SEC this year. Yes, LSU and Alabama are both very good teams, but the drop off is considerable after those two.

I agree that Alabama and LSU both deserve to play each other to see whose the better team… and they already did!

I like these teams, but if I’ll be amazed if the excitement level of this game is even on the same order of magnitude as Broncos-Steelers last night. With low expectations, maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

You mean the Boredom Bowl™? We’ve already seen it - LSU lost. The SEC hypocrites simply had to have their way and have Boredom Bowl II, the all defense, no offense game(current score, an unsurprising 3-0). Either Alabama is the undefeated national champ, or I gotta say that it is Oklahoma State if they lose.

Yeah, I’m going back to BF3. I love love love some of the defensive players on these teams, but there’s two problems:

  1. LSU sucks on offense.
