Restore soul at Thaum 5.

But you have to make a cat charm first.

Thanks, that helps. It’s a bit more expensive, I see, but I should be able to manage.

Why would I need a cat charm?

Always ignore Dave.

I was going to post, “Because I’m a jackass,” but Nate spoke for me!

Dead folks, mostly.

Or dead man/giant/bird/lizard walking!
Really like the idea of no NAPs or alliances but the complete prohibition on talking is frustrating :)

Dear Mictlan,

what an impressive display of force, those obsidian swords sure chop up heavy infantry like butter! Can we be friends please?

So everyone except Caelum & TC is dead?

Well, they seem to get deader with increasing flatness of the research graph.

Also, I wasn’t being entirely serious.

That’s how I read those graphs. (Unless Marignon can pull off a surprise as the invaders get close to his mage heavy capitol.)
There are a couple of undead nations. They’re dead and just don’t know it yet.

There’s not a complete prohibition on talking, at least I never thought there was. However, talking - even obliquely - will almost certainly give away your anonymity…

Curiously, two important graphs are missing: Number of forts and magical income.

The fort graph tends to show the ebb and flow of war better than the provinces graph, because raiding and keeping territory are two different things. And magical income is probably the single most important graph in the lategame.

QT3RAND:

Forts and Gem Income for those that prefer pretty pictures over raw numbers…

Sure, no problems, we like making new friends. Come closer, have you seen my Jade Dagger collection?

No one wins when giants collide…

…oh, wait, maybe everybody else wins.

General question - has anyone tried the seduce effect before? I tried to seduce one of the neighboring generals, and set my seductress to retreat in combat. Thinking, if the seduction is effective, great - and if not, she can retreat to the adjoining province. No harm - no foul.

She failed the seduction, and retreated, but she just disappeared - taking all her minor magic items with her (that tramp!). I’m just curious if this is the normal behaviour? I’ve never used it before, and figured to give it a whirl…

Perkinsssssssss !

faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarf! You crossed the bridge without phoning first!

:)
Gentlemen write! Alas, the state of the roads meant the delivery was delayed. The postmaster will be flogged.

My team of crack research assistants are now working on some form of instantaneous transmission (they mentioned some magnetic waves, who knows which evil they are dabbling in) which should improve the situation.
