I’ve delayed the game 36 hours. Good luck.

Matt has actually attacked me. I didn’t think he had it in him.

I came back and work immediately started kicking my butt.
Thank you for covering in my absence.

Sounds like Munin is almost finished? Might make more for sense for you to end it (if you have the time and inclination to do so)?

If pyrhic’s gambit works, it’ll be over. If not, I’d prefer to hand back the reins. I’m up to five games, and that’s a bit much for me.

I’m starting up an open diplomacy newb game…elsewhere. No, I’m not playing in it. It’s for players with less than ten games under their belts.

No communication will be allowed outside the thread, so it’ll be sort of like that one you guys were playing before I even joined this community. The funny one.

If some of you more experienced players wouldn’t mind, I’m sure that advice for newer players would be appreciated.

Post in the thread linked above if you’re interested in joining.

I can already tell I’m going to need a 24 delay. Sorry, crazy weekend.

Apologies - I need a delay until Wednesday morning. Will be home Tuesday night. Thought I had sent turn before I left but apparently not.

So, for you folks at home, the situation is like this:

Winning condition: 3 capitals

Nations eliminated so far: Arcos and Bogarus

Nations remaining (capitals) - player:
Jomon (2) - me
Utgard (2) - farfrael(currently subbed by Nate)
Midgard (1) - perkins
Mictlan (1) - sharaleo

Jomon has the Bogarus capital, and Utgard has Arcos.

Bogarus is under siege by Utgard, who has broken the walls on the very first turn. Bogarus has no other substantial armies around it.

Arcos is under siege by Jomon, who has broken the walls on its second turn after gate-stoning in an army. Arcos is also surrounded by formidable armies from both Utgard (who should be commended about how he got his armies through the neutral province…) and Midgard.

Possibilities:
If Utgard holds Arcos, and captures Bogarus - Utgard wins the game.
If Jomon holds Bogarus, and captures Arcos - Jomon wins the game.
If both sides trade capitals, or if neither side captures either - the game continues.

My my my…what bloody interesting possibilities…

I’d like to request 48 hours extension, if i might - we have a lot of things to think about…

OH THE INSANITY!

and here we are again, you and I.

It must be…destiny!

This cannot be explained by mere SCIENCE!

Thanks for the game, guys. It was fun while it lasted, and I think I might have learned a thing or two.

One thing that I definitely learned was to never screw up my diplomacy like that again. Not only was it embarrassing, but it probably cost me the game. Let’s never speak of it again! :D

So…what happened?

Yeah, let’s speak of it! Publicly! And now!

On turn 34!!!

Well played though, Nikolaj, we had some battles I will not forget!

A good read, Nate. Well done!

Are you still looking for people for your open diplomacy game? I could be interested. I will have to get registered over there and check out the thread.

Thanks :)

We’re still looking for players. Up to three right now.
