Welcome back, Scribble! Now I have to remember what the heck I was doing. Oh wait, I was mostly twiddling my thumbs, wasn’t I? Hmm, I may have to do something about that…
Did you have a good honeymoon? :) :)

Hugin
This one keeps hosting while Bruce and Matt both keep staling.
Nate is out of it.
Should we just call this one? Cyrofreeze it till players come back?
it’s between you and Matt IMHO, so if Matt isn’t in it, then it should be called
Sorry to say I haven’t been paying attention to this game in my absence. I thought Bruce was going to meet Dave P in New York and bring the disks so that he could install Dom3, but guess that never happened?
I’ve put the game on a longer timer now while we await feedback from Bruce/Matt. I know Bruce is without his home computer, so there’s a good reason he’s not putting in turns. Matt, what’s your excuse? :)
Best keep it on hiatus until Bruce comes back I’d say.
Considering the subject, your use of two “:)” concerns me. You’re up to something, Perkins.
I should have put: :) (:
Also, I was unable to meet Bruce. :( ):

It indicates that he is smiling with both his faces. :) :) :)
In other news, Scribble promptly handed my ass to me in Sleipnir upon his return. This puts me in the unique situation of clutching two instances of my posterior simultaneously. The sensation is intriguing.

I was a little surprised at the one battle I witnessed. I figured those heat aura undead would cause some problems for his lone Spectral Mage, but that guy was a beast. I guess his 50% FR made him immune to your heat aura? That or his 0 enc and re-invig offset any effects? Also, it seemed he was life draining your undead dudes and killing them although it was hard to tell if it was really healing him at all since nothing was hitting him and his hit points were already boosted by him life-draining your normal troops. It worked a lot better than I thought it was going to.
Yeah, life drain drains both fatigue and health, so with haste, life drain and high attack rating there wasn’t much chance of getting fatigued out. Life drains works just fine on undead by the way, it’s lifeless creatures that are immune.

That would have been a completely different battle had you blessed those spiders, Maer.
I’ve had a lot going on lately, sorry for not keeping up with Hugin. I’m fine calling and conceding.
I plead temporary insanity. I didn’t control move my prophet. I may never recover from that disaster.
But you’re one of the front runners in Hugin. If you’re saying that you no longer have the time or interest to play on, that’s fine - let’s look for a sub. But the graphs don’t bear out that this game is in any way decided. Am I wrong?

Bruce is crippled by so many stales.
I believe Nate is dead.
Steve has conceded to Matt and I.
Matt doesn’t want to play.
I am content letting this one go.

Somebody holds two capitols and he’s (temporarily) insane.
Eriu’s capitol has finally fallen.

Eriu’s cap has fallen to the spiders.
A new bunch of spiders has shown up on our western border. They must’ve eaten their way though Shinuyama.
At our southern border, Vanheim and Pythium have each assembled a large army.
Question is, do these two nations intend to send their armies against each other, or have they been implanted with the notion that helping Machaka is a good idea?
It seems weird and unsatisfying to me to let the game fizzle out without a winner and with barely any fighting. It just seems a little contrary to the spirit of these games. You put all this time into the game, into diplomacy, testing etc - and in the end noone cares enough to try to win the game? I can understand that fatigue sets in on turn 70+ of larger games. But this is a five-player game on 60 provinces, and you’re only on turn 54 - surely it should be possible to finish the game properly?
In any case, I can’t make anyone play on if they don’t want to. A little disappointing to see it end this way though.

Would a dead man be storming Matt’s capital this turn? I THINK NOT!!!
Seriously, though, I’ve been dead for a while, but Matt hasn’t pulled the trigger yet.

I was summarizing my impressions from forum chatter/pm’s.
By all intents if nate/Matt/Bruce/Steve want to keep the game going I’ll keep submitting turns, but I feel guilty submitting turns when neither Nate or Bruce are. Instead of shutting it down, put the game on ice and see if anybody complains.
