It’s a mass thing. You see, you could stack twelve monkeys on a triple beam balance and they’d just about balance one massive spider.

I was so convinced that you would retreat and pool your armies, that i set up my forces (in light of the “spider at the gate” storm-the-castle lesson) with business at the front and party at the back (commonly known in these 'ere parts as The Mullet Strategy). I think if I had left my forces with the reverse setup (ie chaff up front), it might have been a bit better for me.

Still, it was very close.

No time. I (EDIT: felt I) needed to risk it to get rid of you quickly in order to be able to turn on Van. Letting you capture my fort first would’ve been (well, is) bad.

However, with the front of your mullet gone, I believe I will stick around a while to attend to its rearward section.

I’m optimistic that Vanheim’s inflated size is attracting enough attention already to make whatever contribution I could make to its reduction seem minor.

Well usually I can script very well :) The blindness DID wreck my spiders but by then it didn’t matter.

Just summon animals. I wanted to try to hold the walls longer and it worked. So I could ensure a retreat. Summon animals got quite a boost in CBM 1.92 credit to Kianduatha. It’s a MUCH more viable spell now.

I can’t seem to get my patrolling D1 mages to cast Ghost Grip when a thug hits. They prefer to animate a string of individual skeletons instead, even when they’re well in range.

It’s infuriating.
