hmmmm…So Bandar takes HIS crack at Machaka’s capitol and learns that cracking a home fortress isn’t easy when it isn’t vacated.

To compound things …in a case of cart/horse Bandar is making advances against his former stallwart ally Eriu. Eriu asks for a white peace with all the folks I have been skirmishing with.

So…I believe the Van control Shin’s capitol, although Shin has a force seiging it. Likewise Pan is shut in by Pythia. It looks like Machaka is NOT under seige for the first time in several turns.

News from other quarters of the world?

You know! I had a brief moment when I thought it was ME you were ganking :) Then I got the grasp that it was the threat.

I’ve been talking about this game. Crazy. I almost never do rush builds and decided to push myself out of my comfort zone this game. Not a bad plan but I made some nasty mistakes that really cost.

Does “ganked” mean “worked over”? I’ve seen the term before, but am not sure what the internet definition is. Anyhow yeah, no way we ganked you cuz you’re new! Only cuz you were heading for a quick win.

I don’t know where ganked came from. I think it’s an odd short form of ganged up on that I somehow absorbed. I’m not much for interspeak usually but this one struck a cord with me.

Right. That’s all I meant. I’ve had a bad run of multiple player gang ups lately. I was feeling a bit like I have a big target painted on me. This game the reason was quite clear. I was a hell of a threat because my whole build was focused on a win in 30 turns. After that, I had no late game.

Don’t feel bad, they all ganged up on me when I started playing as well - at least, it seemed that way at the time, I’m sure being a Dom3 novice had nothing to do with it. I quickly learned that as long as you join a game involving Dave, you’ll at least be second on the chopping block! ;)
