I’m sorry! I did not submit a turn while at home, and will not be able to until tonight. If you guys want to force-host the game, go for it.

As for Eriu, I did not know your pplz had Gate Cleavers, no. That makes more sense now.

Can you imagine if the entire game hinged on the fact that you put Eriu under siege for one turn with a scout, meaning that I could not recruit troops there? I don’t think it did, but I like thinking that maybe it did. One point of PD being the difference between winning and losing. Let this be a lesson to the whippersnappers!

Ya, i’m not sure either - maybe it’s too micromanagey and carebear? Maybe just leave it in as a 1 province capital that can’t be attacked(hmmm, water capital might work well) that will do a broadcast report on the world every 5 turns?

The communication issue was the one thing I was trying more to resolve, because while i like RAND games, they tend to be a little quiet…

About 10 minutes ago I requested a resend and it has not arrived either.

This happened to me a couple times about a year and a half ago.
Ideas?

Llamserver is in the clear.

Fershluggin university was supposed to notify us via e-mail before they transitioned to a new e-mail servers.

Instead they did the transition and THEN sent out the e-mail …of course…none of us ended up getting the e-mail because we were all pointed to the old…

Thought it was a bit too quite around here today.

I will extend out the turn deadline a couple hundred hours and if there is no objection w/in 48 hours I will turn the game off.

Austen, part of why I didn’t worry about attacking you (when tenuki presented his bribe) was because it seemed to me, in one of our games earlier this year, that you hadn’t played Dominions very much. Yet the stuff you’ve been saying lately makes me think that I am wrong, that I’ve got you confused with someone else. Did you play in Newbies & Sharks or in Munin?

All the vamps were recruited in my cap… At end of game I had:

145 In Shin cap that got moved out to fight Caelum there.
65 in my cap that were recently recruited or consolidated.
15 Others that were patrolling in my core lands.

So about 225 total…

As far as alliance with Pythia, I don’t know that it was that close… we had a NAP from turn 10-15 or so… there was really nothing that made it especially close. For my part, there was just no reason to ever want to break it, but I’m mostly peaceful until provoked…

I think he was hesitant to break it while he was actively fighting Pa which was going on for much of the game (tho perhaps more actively at some points than others) But I generally got the impression that he wanted to kill Pan outright before adding me as a foe… could be wrong on that… you’d have to ask him why he didn’t break it sooner.

Ya… I was in Munin… that was my first game ever and I got completely wrecked and was out of the game completely by turn 20 or so…
