Kill Scribble:

I’m giong AI and conceding. My army went way way off script and was killed entirely by one scribbles’ lesser thugs.

My great plan went for naught and I have nothing left.

I thought my plan was great. blood communion, attack for a turn to get into range, cast blood burst doing 11 damage to a cursed S and then a reinvorgation by sabbath master to clean up the fatigue. But I guess they never got in ragne and one master left script and spammed animate dead which killed everyone.

Heh, I think you know that wasn’t by design. My wife was just in the hospital when the first wars broke out, so I just turtled since I didn’t have the bandwidth to get involved. I really felt like I let the game slip away by getting behind like I did at that point.

I think Calahan is referring to something else. ;)

Maybe we can find a sub? You still have a decent sized army. Your army size actually went up last turn. We just had a Maerlande sighting… maybe he could be convinced to fill in. I could send him some more pics perhaps…

My army size went up b/c I lost my thugs and bought dinky mercs to help siege his castle and summoned vampires. Gaining 10 troops and losing 8 thugs isn’t progress. I thought I could kill Scribble’s SC before his main army could link up with it and put my capitol under siege. But now almost all my main fighting folks are dead and his army is linked to my capitol. There is no way I can stop his army with what I have left.

I can likely take his castle along the Mictlan border but that’s pretty pointless and doesn’t do anything about the game.

So are we done with Kill Scribble? I was thinking about it and I seem to be the only one still interested in the game. If everyone else has essentially given up, then there’s no point in continuing.

I’d say just run it through to completion. If scribble is as close to winning as he appears, he should have no trouble finishing it.

Besides, i wouldn’t want to end it without getting a chance to see if your shenanigans will pay off ;)

I don’t mind playing it out until its conclusion. Doesn’t seem right to end the game when the win condition is not met and someone else still think they have a chance.

QT3 games often seem to get to this stage. I’m probably going to win, but if I don’t it will be because everyone threw the kitchen sink at me. And if it goes down like that, Abysia will clearly win. Arga Dis, Eriu and Pangea are stuck in kingmaking position with little to play for. They needed to make their bid for victory earlier.

Abysia has me nearly defeated, but I’ve got two medium sized armies that I hope to bring to bear a bit before I’m thoroughly dead.
