The strange thing is pyrhic and I have played in two of my 3 career MP games where there was diplomacy (4th one is currently Middletown), and we were peaceful in both although Scribble gobbled him up quickly and early in Sleipnir and he still has time to backstab me in Azimuthal :P.

I am not too concerned about selecting my own nation, to be honest, and part of the reason this MP game is appealing to me is I will get assigned a nation to play and it gives me the opportunity to learn a new nation. So, please put me in with the rest and let me know.

MAN!!! Are you kidding me? Man…I got put in a game with Hydra’s and some of the best thugging nations in the middle era and I drew MAN!!! Ah…Ok…new scenario.

Kelan Hydra rushes me only to be put down by Ashdod thugs with poison protection. Wahoo gets off to a great start, but after I’m knocked out, everybody starts eyeing his position on the graph. Just as Pythia and Ashdod start what they think is a 3-1 against Agartha, Eriu Pearl Harbors everybody and steams into both of his “allies” capitol. There is a big long forum thread where Kelan complains that the victory conditions didn’t contain the “hold for three turns” clause when Nate demonstrates his ability to do so, the controversy dies down. Pyrhic respects Nate’s maneuver so much that he makes killing Nate his priority for the next 3 games…which pretty much means business as usual for QT3 dominions.

Man…How did Scribble win NewbieRumble2 again? Oh…yeah. He got Air Mages and the ovens in site searching… I’m in trouble.
