Glad to hear that.

Nothing Kills the Hydras!!!

We’re standing right in front of you.

Man, I really hate the Old Age mechanic they added. I even had 3 Growth scales in my cap last turn and half my mages got diseased… and they weren’t even the really old guys. They are only supposed to be 2 years into old age. Ugh!

Happy birthday!!!

That’s Eriu in the game…Naet is there got. They don’t do anything but ride on sparkly ponies…Kelan…you should send him some Hydras as a birthday gift!

Playing with the Birds reminds me of this clip, except that the elephants are, well, woollier and more mammothy.

"Mammoths can’t fly!’ you might say. “Can’t they…” I might reply, “…are you absolutely sure?!”

Hmm, you may be onto something there! It sounds like the birthday party is at Naet’s place. I could have all my diseased mages come celebrate their last days with a communion and bring all the hydras along for good measure :). Either that or I will just throw em all at those scary undead apes between us!

Eeep! That is a scary thought. I sure hope I don’t meet those anytime soon.

You know of Ashdod isn’t going to get any bigger than that, you can just give up. It’s Ok. We all understand. Look at the …snicker…giants…hehehe…

Lady of Furtune? Flying Mamoths? hmmmmm FAM stands for Freakin Air Magic. Way to much FAM on the map.

I thought it was a FAMily oriented game.

You’re dieing first pony boy.

Somebody been reading the Outsiders?

We don’t read in the caves.

Bad Light.

I guess I am waaay behind on this thread… I just saw this… can I know now? Is it something that happened in Azimuthal? I’m so curious now!

The tour

In the memory of so many quarter to three games that have ended by concession, I think we should just give up on the tour and let Pythia walk away with it.

Uh, oh! I should probably say something here, but not sure what.

All we are doing is throwing some gladiator games in our newly built Coliseums. The fine nation of Agartha is welcome to attend as either a participant or a spectator.

I have also been struggling with the map at times. Sometimes my guys can move right through mountains even though they don’t have the trait to do so.

I also noticed that the person that made the map appears to have pulled lots of the graphics from HOMM, probably HOMM3 it seems. I recognize the gold mines and probably even the windmills that mark the farms and the swamps look like those little gem fields they had.

We are busy repelling armed invaders from Man.
Thanks for the invite.
I thought you needed to be…above the radar.

Three possible reasons for this :-

1 - The province only looks lke a Mountain on the map, but it is not tagged as a Mountain province in the map file. Check the info box of the province in question to see if it has the little mountain icon in the low right corner.

2 - It is a Border Mountain rather than a Mountain. (again check the info box and mouse-over the litte mountain icon)

3 - There is other terrain in the province, namely either Swamp or Forest, and the troops you are moving through it have Swamp or Forest survival respectively.*

  • Survival traits allow units to ignore the movement penalties associated with the corresponding terrain type, which is well known to most players. But what is less well known is that if a province has more than one terrain tag, then a unit only needs to have one of the corresponding survival traits to be able to ignore the movement penalty of all the terrain in the province. For example a unit with swamp survival can pass through a province that is a Mountain, Swamp and Forest, even though it does not have Mountain or Forest survival.
