Update from llamabeast from the Invision Dom3mods forums from earlier today.

Hi all,

Sorry for the silence. I was away this weekend (if it is going to fail, the llamaserver often seems to wait till I go away). When I got back late last night I replaced the power supply (I ordered a new one after the old one acted up a few weeks ago), but still couldn’t turn it on. After a bit of prodding I can’t work out what could be up unless the motherboard’s gone, which I don’t know how to fix.

Anyway, I have various spare parts around, so I am hoping I can construct a new functioning computer this evening. I guess that if it’s on a new motherboard it may require reinstalling the OS, aargh. I will keep you updated.

i’m getting error messages saying that the turn is the wrong one, and the game seems advanced to turn 64 and unwilling to send me the new turn. I assume things will get alright sometime soon…

so far, no. It keeps sending me an email every 14 minutes or so:

I received an e-mail from you, but unfortunately there seems to be a problem with it.

Your 2h file seems to be for a different turn number to the one the game’s currently on. The 2h file is for turn 63, while the game is now on turn 64.

and it won’t send me a turn when i request one. But still, lots of time to try again…

Two things…
I have delayed llamaserver from hosting till I’m confident that everyone has their turn. I have requested my turn twice, but not received it. If you HAVE received your turn, drop me a PM.

I suspect the game will go dark (meaning no or few turns) from August 3-11. Specifics are sketchy because I do not know them yet.

Frankly, I think the game is in an interesting space and very much want to continue. We are 74 turns in and NOBODY has taken a capitol?
Anybody who saw Eriu kick the daylights out of my army last turn has to be thinking that Agartha isn’t getting it done.
I can understand why others might feel differently.
