Shit’s about to get real.

Sort of the opposite of a meteoric rise to power. Dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge! Sorry that we can’t accept any of those “Gifts” you were sending our way.

You are not someone i like right now.

I suspect that in both games we’re in, by the way.

It’s getting to that point, you know, where you decided to go down one road but it’s not, like, going where you wanted it. So you start thinking about the other road, but then realize that the other road had its arms chopped off, and then was somehow ground up in a meatgrinder smaller than itself, and killed by a blind skeleton, two turns ago.

Ya. So that’s like where I am.

And whoever is sending the ninjas can fuck right off too.

:P

In rand, I have a barely formed suspicion of who you might be.

I’m honestly surprised at the potency of the Prince of Death SC against a human player. I expected him to do well against indies, but he’s been quite successful even with limited gear. I like the eye shield as well. First time I’ve use it. I noticed all your units losing their eyes one at a time. Definitely increases survivability and is a good counter to any thugs or SCs. There’s no way I can survive much longer, though. You’ll have my capital in a few turns.

Against another nation, i think it’d do worse…but ya, i too am surprised. I totally overlooked the eye shield the first time, and most of the other counters i had to the SC proved inadequate.

It’s been a learning experience. For instance, i expected elephants(size 6) would be able to crush a size 4 creature - for some reason, they cant. I expected then, that a being with no weapons and no discernible attack, once deprived of its main ability to do damage(trample) would be impotent…that was incorrect, somehow it’s doing other damage - enough to kill. I expected rain to slow the flying, it did not. It’s something of a flying contradiction, partly truth and partly fiction.

Thanks for the advance notice!

Our pleasure! But I was really referring to Ermor’s giant pile of horses and Tartarians. I hope some of the tarts elect to write sonnets next turn.

According to the manual, trample is resisted by roll [defense - fatigue/10] vs. 10. Not so sure the difficulty is right; for MR it’s actually 12 although the manual says 10. At any rate, trample is basically useless against high defense/no fatigue units.

Storm does that. I’ve never heard (EDIT: important caveat) of rain affecting flyers.

Hope this is your other game. In Spring Lion 2 Joman has not sent any ninja’s out.

Inside a secret department of the Joman’s military academy:

  • so you all know why you have been selected?
  • because we’re good?
  • no, because we can achieve complete deniability

[been watching that Bourne: whatever, the return once again trailer too many times recently]

Hey. Joman hasn’t been the best of neighbors, but we have not outright lied. If you are getting hit by ninja’s they are NOT from us.

At least not yet ;)

By all means.

check out the Server Info and the Hosting Games links.
Dominions 3 is a GREAT game to spark interest in being a server. It can start simple but has room to grow to tremendous serving options. Especially if you are running Linux

And just in time for also hosting Illwinters next game Conquest of Elysium 3 to be released in a few days

Spring Lion
Finally Down goes the Prince of Death.

How long till our first nation is eliminated?

Looks like Gath has made the transition to SC’s well in front of everybody else.

Aww. Poor, brave Naet. Now who’s going to supply all the fun battles?

SC is such a loaded term really.

We prefer to call them, umm … wait for it:

Freedom Fighters!

Ya, well maybe someone else can have some fun with a 30def, 30prot, flying, trampling, element immune, regenerating, high dom pretender with high MR and a shield that rips your eyes out.

Patala spent the month rejoicing and then trying to figure out how it’s going to pay for all the blind vets coming home from the front lines in a few months.

I think Nate’s grand plan is to delay the game till we forget about it and then declare victory.

Not this time monkey boy.

How crazy! I just logged on to say much the same thing.

[Aside: dfs, my calc book’s at the printer!]

Perkins, how DARE you attack me?!

I did? For shame.
