Because the Republicans wanted them to be iirc.

Bennett made fun of them getting swept and he’s extremely conservative. He said most of them were there because of who they knew, not because they were any good at being judges. He saw them getting swept as schadenfreude for playing the game of politicizing the judiciary.

The CA-21 starting to get interesting…

Totally not accusing anyone of wrongdoing, but there is totally voter fraud going on!

This signature matching shit just seems a prime vector for voter suppression.

Signature matching is a joke, especially since a bunch of the time now, at least one of the signatures is made in a touch screen.

I don’t even try to sign my name on those screens. I just make a squiggle.

This is the best story about this that I’ve seen.

Touch screen signature is the most pointless thing invented by human beings.

Uh oh

She would be winning by 8 million votes if people in the Caravan didn’t mail in fraudulent ballots.

I don’t think the Caravan voting would hurt the GOP too much, but when they all vote multiple times it really hurts.

By my calculation, every person in the caravan would have to vote about 1,200 times for that result, even the babies in diapers.

Finally you’re starting to understand the scale of this fraud.

This one needs to be read to be believed.

Do I really need to read it? I would rather not give them the click if it sounds as bad as what you posted

Wait, so their argument is she shouldn’t have run for office because she can’t afford an apartment in DC?

Is this so surprising until she starts getting paid? The fact they don’t understand that every member of Congress isn’t independently wealthy is astounding

Porter now up 3,800 votes. Ovah.

One thought about the way a number of the CA races in purple/near-red areas turned out in favor of the Dems: I wonder how much of this is fallout from one specific aspect of the GOP tax cut: screwing the blue states (specifically upper middle class suburbs in the blue states) hard with the 2017 tax bill changes to the state tax exemption. I have no empirical or anec-data to support this, but my subjective impression is that in places like Orange County and to a lesser degree the areas directly east of LA county (Inland Empire), that tax change may have hurt incumbent Rs pretty bad.

I wonder what the eventual data and post-mortems will say.
