Bard’s Tale 3?

One Hundred and One Monochrome Mazes?

Does it have a blue and orange got that moves around the maze?

Covert Action?

I thought the game really shined on my tablet. It is a whole lot of ‘swipe here, swipe there, push this’ but I felt that worked better than doing it with the mouse. A ton of fun no matter what platform you enjoy it on.

Whereas I’ve never played it on a tablet!

I think it’s great on PC. Works really well with the keyboard. I’ve never used a mouse and had no idea you could do so. I really recommend the keyboard method. You learn the patterns and mnemonics quite well. I hadn’t played the game in about a year (and it’s had some “iron chef” update since then), but I opened it up to take that picture and I fell back into the rhythm of the foods straight away.

e.g. typing things like BOMG<ENTER> to do a salad with all the bits, PSCRPSCRPSCR to do the lasagne, TTTSTTT<ENTER> to do the chicken, or for the fish it’s: mash Up/left/right arrow keys in a single hand stroke, some other key I can’t recall right now but I do by muscle memory and then <enter>… or for the dishes: frantically mash Left/Right/left/right/Up :)

I can’t find the video that got me to buy the game as youtube search sucks. It might be this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=heCoL5zzrQc (skip to about 7 minutes).

Here’s a similar one by the same guy in the best restaurant: Skip to like 6 minutes.

Though I basically bought it as I liked things like Stand o’ Food on mobile platforms.

Second one won’t help dissuade you of this notion!

If I scan this with my phone will it give me the answer?

lol, that would be amazing if it did. Maybe this is another one of those oldies that very few people actually played. The creator designed one of the more famous RPG series in the 80s as well.

Is the character represented by a little magenta dot? This seems vaguely familiar. Maybe there’s a green dot too?

Nope, no dots are involved as far as I know. An X perhaps.

Deathlord?

I’ll go ahead with the next one since it’s as helpful as the last:

Pac-Man and the Labyrinth of Minos?

Also known as I have no clue.

Some weird version of Rally X?

That looks familiar. Bard’s Tale perhaps? EDIT : Nevermind, I see someone already guessed that.

Maze Craze?

If we stare at it too long, does it turn us into sleeper agents for the KGB or something?

This would be a giveaway if you’ve played it (maybe no one has??):

Dwarf Fortress?
