Scott gets the series correct, but rhamorim nails the game. I had planned on accepting either Age 1 or 2, since they are so visually close, but the 1 minute difference I’m inclined to give to rhamorim.

Yeah those came as I was typing my reply. They got it.
Koreans are my favorite faction, since I love their special unit. Turtle ships were amazing, but due to being sea based meant that they were only of marginal value in normal play.
Still the rule of cool definitely applied to my 15 year old self playing this, and they had it.
Look at that! Well, since I posted a game so recently, I think BleedTheFreak should post the next one.
But he’s no longer among us, so I think Scott Lufkin is a good second choice (or maybe JoshL? he got the game right too). ;)
I was hedging my bets with my guess, as I had no idea it would have been the first or second, so rhamorim definitely got that one. Nicely done everyone!

I played those games a lot, and I don’t know that I could tell the difference at a glance from a partial screen.
Age 3, however, I most definitely would not have accepted.

I played a ton of Age of Empires 1 and 2 at work during lunch. Those were some good times. Out of our 3 man group I’d win around 75% of our matches. Then a 4th guy started playing with us and totally schooled us. I realized I wasn’t nearly as good as I thought I was.
Okay, here we go. I’ll have some comments on this game later, but for now, frame one!

Ha, I doubt I’d have fared much better, as I always pursued a strong naval game. I would not attack cities on a map with water, I had to bombard them with ships. One of those ‘these are expensive, so they must be good --> I bought these expensive things, so I have to use them’ deals.

So many hours playing that game in high school.
Gah I recognize that key but I can’t for the life of me pull out what game its from.
So familiar. Maybe a Zelda game?
