I knew this would be an easy one because it has very distinctive art, but I just had to go with it, because it is THE “surprise of the year” for me. I’m not a fan of Double Fine, so I didn’t buy the game on release, but after reading a lot of stuff (including Tom’s review/comments) I finally got it in a recent sale, and I have to say… Massive Chalice is brilliant. I’d even go as far as to say that it is a very strong GotY candidate as far as I’m concerned, and if not for Witcher 3, it could well be my #1 pick.
