I really liked Monster Hunter Ultimate 3 on the Wii U, but it left me craving for a Monster Hunter game on the PC. Toukiden: Kiwami is the closest thing, and a pretty cool game on its own right. While some people had issues with the PC port, I had none. That said, I haven’t played the game as much as I should (yet), but I certainly want to.

So what is the big wooden(?) thing? I was expecting it to be a staff in FPS perspective or something, but that’s clearly not the case.
It’s actually a fish on a stick, seen from a strange angle (which was not intentional, just the way it appeared in that particular scene). Here’s a normal view of the same area (which is your house in the game):

Oh, I see that now. I definitely thought it was some ugly gnarled version of a club, something like a poor grade starter weapon in a Skyrim type game.
Heh. Never played Toukiden, but as a vita owner, that headgear is hard to miss.

Nope. Not fast at all. Though it looks like a genuine big-lipped alligator moment.
I actually do recognize that character, I think, but I really have no idea what it might be until maybe I see a bit more.

I actually vaguely recognize it too. But narrowing it down to a specific game, I cannot do. There are too many, if I’m right.
Street Fighter… 3? I could be way off but it looks familiar, it looks like maybe something from a stage background.
