Unlike other countries, Trump might have some of the military votes but he doesn’t actually have the military. He might try and go all batshit crazy and rally up a coup, but it’s not going to happen.

It’s not the military I’m afraid of. It’s my neighbors. My parents had dog shit smeared all over the front door of their house when they first moved into a nice suburban neighborhood in Memphis, TN. This was 15 years ago during a much calmer political climate. Why did this happen? Did they provoke such an attack? Doubtful. My father was a professor at the local university at the time; my mother an accountant. These are two of the kindest and gentlest people I’ve ever known. My guess is their provocation was being the only non-white household on their street.
