Why/how are the Republicans all fucking misogynist cavemen? That Kelly-Gingrinch interview was fucking terrible.

What I hear…

Because when you adopt the strategy of “the other side” there is no other way to do it.

Democrats position themselves as the party of women’s rights and minority rights.
So… you HAVE to be against those things.

Which is stupid, but it’s basically how a two party system tends to work. You want votes, so you take in whatever the opposing side of the argument is as your position. Now sometimes you don’t really push that position much or even downright ignore it, but it goes without saying that if the Republicans support something, generally the Democrats oppose it and vice versa.

And once you adopt positions, you’ll start getting people who agree with those positions. Hell, you’ll start to get shills who take those positions just because you have them.

This gma interview is a shit show. Stephanolous is gonna lose his shit.

What’s going on?

And why is Trump at the Games Media Awards?

Ethics in journalism.

It’s just more of the same but Trump always seems desperate and floundering when confronted 1-1.

Here’s the link (in quotes because discourse/abcnews fuckery):

My god, listening to him speak (especially in that conspiratorial whisper) is so hard. He is a mental toddler.

His supporters fit in here as far as I’m concerned.

Stupid tweet neglects mentioning the guy’s costume.

@kerzain, we were thinking about the very same thing!

Cheers.

From Google:

“Salafis are fundamentalists who believe in a return to the original ways of Islam. The word ‘Salafi’ comes from the Arabic phrase, ‘as-salaf as-saliheen’, which refers to the first three generations of Muslims (starting with the Companions of the Prophet), otherwise known as the Pious Predecessors”.

So, I guess Facebook and Twitter are news media in Trump’s world. Explains a lot.

Also, I only got 3 likes on that hilarious cat video I posted. I plan on suing all my FB friends after the election.

The best response.

CNN points out that this is “a stupid thing Donald Trump said”

Not only was there no proof of this, but it was pretty easy to
disprove. The FBI email inquiry was at the top of Google News; FBI
director James Comey’s name was at the top of Facebook’s “trending” box;
and Twitter’s “moments” section had a prominent story about the
controversy.
Nevertheless, Trump’s wrong-headed “burying” claim
was his most popular tweet of the day. About 25,000 accounts retweeted
it and almost 50,000 “liked” it, helping the falsehood spread far and
wide.

More on the 650 million line, which is apparently a thing he actually said.

Although Clinton is long on the record in favor of comprehensive immigration reform and a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, there is no evidence she favors increasing the US population by 650 million, a total roughly equal to the combined population of Canada, Mexico and the European Union.
