Like!

I can’t even. I mean, I’m happier to see this than whatever the last one was, but… what?
There is the “small” jab, but otherwise it’s basically the exact opposite of the last thing he said.

To really appreciate it, you need a grab of the two successive tweets in his timeline:

So ridiculous.

I assume the “small groups” were pro Trump counter protests?

I assumed that as well, but couldn’t find anything remotely like that out there.

It’s just fucking bizarre.

I read it as him trying to diminish the importance of the people protesting. Come January, he’s going to seethe when he’s the primary target of everybody’s analysis, hacking, criticism, etc. It will be interesting to see if he withdraws from public discourse or keep repeatedly hammering people on Twitter. The President is a busy man. I guess he’s not used to working 16 hours/day.

Awesome!

I wasn’t sure where to mention this but when I was walking into work this morning the following was written in chalk on the sidewalk in front of the entrance to my building:

The Pussy Grabs Back

The rallying cry of the nascent resistance movement!

Don’t forget to check the source of the tweets. Prior to the election you may recall that the Android tweets were from Trump and the iOS tweets were from his staff. Maybe that will continue (I tried to check these latest tweets but for the life of me I can’t see in my browser where a tweet originated).

It’s in the Source someplace. I’m sure there are things you can download someplace that figure it out. I doubt most people are digging through that nightmare to find it.

Presumably once he’s president it’ll all be from whatever device the White House is allowed to use, regardless of whether it’s him or staff. Maybe even already.

Or we’ll have some kind of secret Tweet server set up so he can continue his mindless rants late at night without supervision.

Ha ha, hahhahahaha

I’m sure he’ll love the attention.

Staying on topic, this is a quote from Trump before his political days that I happened to include in a work farewell email that I left several years ago:

“I love to buy beautiful trees. Sometimes, though, those trees aren’t in nurseries; sometimes they are in a person’s backyard. Money can’t buy happiness, but it sure as hell can buy some great trees.”

Wow, where did that man go? That sounds like a Trump I could actually like.

Latest statement on healthcare:

“It will be just fine. That’s what I do, I do a good job. You know, I know how to do this stuff. We’re going to repeal it and replace it. We’re not going to have, like, a two-day period, and we’re not going to have a two-year period where there’s nothing. It will be repealed and replaced and we’ll know. And it will be great health care for much less money.”

It’s amazing. He’s like a parody of himself.

I’ll take one brain transplant for $0.75 plz.

Aw, shucks.

Donald Trump says social media helped him win the presidential election – but he’ll be “restrained” about using Twitter and Facebook once in power.

@Clay I don’t believe him.

Well, yeah. If there’s one thing we know, it’s that New York Times subscribers want pro-Trump messaging… wait, what?
