That’s because they’re swimming across piddly little serene rivers. Wait until they get a load of the vicious rivers. Very bad!
Isn’t Vicious Rivers opening for Vagenda of Manocide?
I’m pretty sure that Vicious Rivers is the new hit single from Bad Hombres (who opens for Vagenda of Manocide).
Of course the skit was all about Trumps twitter obsession.

I wonder what he thinks accurate and honorable coverage looks like? Actually, I don’t.

Huh, I never realized it before, but Donald Trump doesn’t know the difference between “News” and “Entertainment”. SNL isn’t the news. John Oliver isn’t the news. Rush Limbaugh isn’t the news. Those seem to be the places that he is the most upset with for misrepresenting him.
I also suspect he gets upset with places like NYT posting silly things like facts and figures. Why aren’t you just reporting the things that Trump says and accepting them as facts? He’s the president now! When he says is, by default, a fact. To report anything other than what he says is to be inaccurate and dishonorable.
I think I’m going to check out of being shocked at Trump’s wackiness/tweets/stupidity. It’s over. He won, and we will have an incompetent quasi-fascist narcissist for president for the next 4 years. This stuff used to be vaguely funny when we still figured Hillary would pull it out. Now it’s just unbelievably depressing.
All I have energy for is live my life, keep an eye on any egregious violations of law/civil rights, march if necessary, donate to orgs I like if I have any extra money, and vote in 2018 and 2020. Maybe I’ll write a few strident letters to Kamala Harris while I’m at it.
Fuck this guy, and fuck the assholes who enable him.

I have to tune out politics as well lately. I just can’t handle the insanity and horror of this dude.

Literally nothing Trump has ever said in the past, or anything he ever says in the future, will matter to the people who support and vote for him.
Umm…

Shortly after his tweet, he told reporters at Trump Tower: "The plane is totally out of control. It’s going to be over $4 billion for Air Force One program and I think it’s ridiculous. I think Boeing is doing a little bit of a number. We want Boeing to make a lot of money, but not that much money.”[/quote]
What does that even MEAN I don’t understand OMG

“This plane doesn’t even have gold toilets! CANCEL ORDER!”
Hey, maybe he’ll get a discount on it. Either Boeing will get paid less, or he’ll be less safe.
I’m just worried about all the reporters and personnel that also fly on that plane.
I get the feeling that despite all his assurances that he’s the best businessman, he doesn’t really understand how contracts work.
Contracts are those things you complain about after the other party fulfills them, as an excuse not to render payment.

I was kind of amazed by how Trump supporters would pretend to care about things like honesty and integrity, while totally giving Trump a pass on the fact that he, by all accounts, has a history of completely unethical business practices.
The really weird thing was when these folks said, “That’s just him being a good businessman!”
No. No it’s not. There is nothing about being a good businessman which demands an abandonment of ethics. Indeed, the opposite is true. Unethical people are BAD businessmen. Trump’s unethical practices only work if you are given a large amount of money up front by your father, which you can then use to bully others.
Their support for Trump essentially highlighted the fact that these people have no real ethical or moral foundation at all at this point. That it’s all just a game for them.
You’d think they might be swayed by the fact that the one time he ran a public company, he bankrupted it while other casino firms made out like bandits. And when questioned about it, said he wasn’t representing anybody but himself. Which is about as bad as you can do as a CEO. But no.
They don’t care about any of that. They don’t care that he’s totally antithetical to their Christian convictions, because…
-
He’s not Hillary. They hate her beyond all reason.

Mike Pence is their ace-in-the-hole. They can console themselves that they are really just supporting him, no matter what vile things the top-of-the-ticket says, their ace-in-the-hole promises to repeal the Johnson Amendment, which means more money and protection for their precious church money.
