Holy crap, they are forbidden from using Twitter even for crisis management and announcements? That is insane. President Carrotrage is already putting lives at risk due to a bruised ego.
While silly, Twitter isn’t really something that should be used in an official manner for crisis situations.
In this day and age of social media, Twitter should definitely be one of many routes for the dissemination of information during a crisis.
Definitely not the only route, but it deserves its place as one form, for sure.
