The redirection away from Chicago is weird. Just a few months ago we were getting Onion articles about snow plowing through feet deep bullet casings. Now that Trump is President, eh, it’s not so bad.
Yeah, I think it’s fair to say that Chicago has a problem. That it’s lower than New Orleans on a per capita rate or whatever doesn’t change the fact that there’s a lot of shootings happening in Chicago.
My issue is that we have a sitting President that just proposed sending federal forces to a city in the continental US. I’m guessing to institute martial law? I’m not even sure Trump knows what he was suggesting.
