I totally do that, but when I cared more I had a tie clip and/or used double sided tape so you couldn’t see it.

This is a bit late, but this is one funny editorial on Trump’s speech.
Trump “will not allow the mistakes of recent decades past to define the course of our future.” (This is what happens when you put “we don’t win anymore” through a thesaurus.)
And when you put the usual story of the Trump electoral college victory through a thesaurus, you get: “The rebellion started as a quiet protest, spoken by families of all colors and creeds -– families who just wanted a fair shot for their children, and a fair hearing for their concerns. But then the quiet voices became a loud chorus — as thousands of citizens now spoke out together, from cities small and large, all across our country. Finally, the chorus became an earthquake.” This is quite the mixed metaphor (some Trump-supporting metaphors look askance at metaphors like that) but also, I think, the plot of the most recent “X-Men” movie?

Although it is perfectly likely they did tap him. There was the Trump Tower server communicating with a Russian bank as well as the election hacking stuff.

Grain of salt and all that, there was some speculation it was a plant account or ‘fake news’ propaganda outlet, but who knows. I did not mention that as it had been covered in thread at some point.
… And after all that, Donnie still had the energy to tweet about the things that really matter:

Yeah, one of two things are true.
Either,

Trump Tower and the Trump campaign being wiretapped never happened and Trump is being delusional, OR
-
A FISA judge found probable cause of Russian intelligence meddling in the Trump campaign to create a national security threat and approved such order.
Any Trump supporters out there can let me know which one of those things they want to be true.
(BTW, it appears as if the second case is the true one. Have an informative twitter thread…)

It’s time we admit that Trump is a media manipulating genius. What is front-page news on every site right now? Trump accusing Obama of ordering Trump Tower to be tapped. What is the second? Democrats responding to Trump tweeting pictures of Democrats speaking to Putin at press events. What is near the bottom of the stories? All the Trump/Russia relationship stuff that was the main story until Trump starting tweeting.
You can call his tweets “bat-shit crazy”, but they are seriously brilliant. Same thing he did during the whole campaign cycle any time the press started reporting on something truly damaging. “Look over at this other shiny thing, Media! LOOK AT IT!” and the media obliges, every time.
I agree, but even the average Trump voter can be duped so many times.
The reporters he has pissed off and crapped on won’t stop digging until they find the prize.
