Because inheriting a dictatorship from your father who died is so difficult.

Trump had no idea who was running North Korea until like 5 minutes ago.

Oh, he knew it was Kim, but just figured it must have been a famous one - like a Kardashian or something.

Nobody has a blind spot to privilege and circumstances of birth quite like the Donald.

As if you needed more proof he’s a fuckin imbecile:

“I loved my previous life. I had so many things going,” Trump told Reuters in an interview. “This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier.”

He thought being President of the United States of America would be easier than… what? Being on The Apprentice?

Apparently easier than just about any job in the world given what he went in with.
The dude making your fries at McDonalds as more practical knowledge than Trump does.
If he got a job there we’d be hearing about how the registers with pictures of food are more complicated than anyone knew.

Seriously. Anyone who calls millions of dollars a “small” loan without a hint of sarcasm should automatically be disqualified to lead a nation.

Especially when that person literally shits through millions of dollars they could have never earned on their own.

I’d take Warren Buffet over Trump in a heartbeat, but the problem is that Warren would have an idea of what he was getting into and would probably refuse. Trump is so goddamn stupid that he really does think you can run a government just like his failed shitty business ventures.

I’d take… just about any billionaire over Trump.

Buffet? Sure.
Cuban? Fine.

Shit even the Kochs look good, at least they understand… anything.

In a perfect world we’d get Gates off the list.

As if you needed more proof he’s a fuckin imbecile:

Trump told Reuters in an interview. “This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier.”

He misses driving, feels as if he is in a cocoon, and is surprised how hard his new job is.

President Donald Trump on Thursday reflected on his first 100 days in office with a wistful look at his life before the White House.

“I loved my previous life. I had so many things going,” Trump told Reuters in an interview. “This is more work than in my previous life. I thought it would be easier.”

More than five months after his victory and two days shy of the 100-day mark of his presidency, the election is still on Trump’s mind. Midway through a discussion about Chinese President Xi Jinping, the president paused to hand out copies of what he said were the latest figures from the 2016 electoral map.

“Here, you can take that, that’s the final map of the numbers,” the Republican president said from his desk in the Oval Office, handing out maps of the United States with areas he won marked in red. “It’s pretty good, right? The red is obviously us.”

He had copies for each of the three Reuters reporters in the room.

I really hope he just dies. Like a massive heart attack or a stroke or something.

Mate have you even played Crusader Kings 2? It is difficult!

In all seriousness, a 20-something inheriting a dictatorship could easily become a puppet to a junta or ‘victim’ (use the word very loosely) of a coup. His father reducing the entire population to continual depression, anxiety, and fear probably helped this particular young dictator quite alot.

Presidents seem to age quickly while in office, but Trump may be immune to that because he doesn’t care about anything other than how much money he has and what others think about him.

My guess is he will seriously consider not running in 2020 unless it’s an ego thing.

The Guardian’s “Who knew?” Reuters interview highlights:

“Wide-ranging interview” is the nice way of saying “Old man prattles randomly”.

[quote]On South Korea and Thaad

“On the Thaad system, it’s about a billion dollars. I said, ‘Why are we paying? Why are we paying a billion dollars? We’re protecting. Why are we paying a billion dollars?’ So I informed South Korea it would be appropriate if they paid. Nobody’s going to do that. Why are we paying a billion dollars? It’s a billion-dollar system. It’s phenomenal. It’s the most incredible equipment you’ve ever seen – shoots missiles right out of the sky. And it protects them and I want to protect them. We’re going to protect them. But they should pay for that, and they understand that.”

This is my favorite.

Yup, it recently became the longest running scripted show in TV history, beating out Gunsmoke.

I’m tuning in this Sunday.

Hey look, Donnie did do something in his first 100 days after all! (NYTimes)

The Commerce Department on Friday provided its first statistical snapshot of the American economy in the first quarter, the gross domestic product estimate.

• The economy barely grew, expanding at an annual rate of only 0.7 percent.

• The growth was a sharp decline from the 2.1 percent annual rate recorded in the final quarter of last year. It was the weakest quarterly showing in three years.

MAGA!

Just waiting for him to blame Obama even though he took credit for all the job growth reports since then.

In fairness, I don’t think Trump can really be blamed for any economic effects in the 1st quarter. He has instituted no real policy thus far, and even if he did, the likelihood that it would have an impact so quickly is virtually nil.
