Where’s the thread for examples that were living in a capitalistic dystopia.
Doctors went on strike here in the 80s because there were no limits on hours… They finally passed a law limiting work hours to 80 a week, or 24 hours consecutive.

There is basically no executive of a major company who does not believe this. An awful lot of the productivity gains of the last decades have come from simply working salaried people more hours.
I think if you expect to make the kind of money one does at JP Morgan, these hours are necessary to be skilled enough.
I have always worked in some form of consulting. The first two years were an awful, low paid meat grinder. Every job I’ve had since has been pretty “easy” and thankfully decently remunerative.
Pretty sure you just have to convince one of the elders to share their blood with you once you’ve been drained near the point of death.
