so screw the malls.
Screw them, in general. I used to love malls when I was younger - now they just suck the life out of me the minute I walk inside. I can’t take it.

I picked up SR2 Complete on this deal and have been getting my ass handed to me. I think I need to read up on the strategery, because pirates keep asploderating me.
What, is the sale over? Oh well, no SR2 for me then.
(And it went up to $50 from $4, that’s a little harsh)
That’s why it was such a deal. I don’t get worked up about a $10 game going temporarily down to $5 or the like (though it’s certainly nice). $40 going to $4, on the other hand…
Man, too bad nobody posted about it. If only there’d been more than seven threads devoted to the topic!
Ah, internet, eternal source of unwarranted sarcasm.
If you look you’ll see that I posted during the sale, I obviously knew about it, I just missed the fact that it was a weekend only sale. I thought I had more time.
Aquaria is on Steam now, down to $20 from its original $30. Except it’s actually $16 if you buy before the end of the month.
Hmm. Saint’s Row 2, worth $50 for the CE or not as a holiday present to myself?
Thanks for the heads up. It’s last year’s IGF winner, for those that don’t know. Eurogamer’s review here. Demo here. (Looks like there’s no demo on Steam yet).

This is a good buy. I got a chance to play the demo, and a friend was showing off the game to me.
Very cool… especially if you liked other ambient exploration games (like Ecco the dolphin)

ToysRUs has Rockband2 special edition for $110 plus you get a free $25 gift card. They have very limited stock and the fuckheads at BestBuy arent pricematching it despite their bullshit guarantee. I bought a copy for PS3 since thats all TRU had left I really wanted a 360 copy for my nephews, so I’m pursuing bitching out the BB corporate guys who wont honor it.
I’m a little confused - why would you wait to buy a game that can be purchased on the internet in like a minute or less and downloaded any time you want for as long as Stardock keeps Impulse going? I mean, unless you really didn’t have $4 to spend, I guess.

The in store policy is that there has to be a store near you and they have to have copies for it to work. If you have proof of both you should be able to argue for it .
I love SR2, one of the better games this year especially if you have someone to coop with you. I can’t imagine getting a CE for it, though, it’s just not that kind of game. I guess I just don’t take CE’s seriously unless it’s a game where I’m interested in the plot/design and it comes with a bunch of stuff related to it.
But the regular version was worth 60$ to me easily, so ymmv.
They frequently renege on “while supply lasts” price matching.
Amazon has Operation Darkness for $19.98. The 15 Days, 15 Deals include a Nyko Perfect Shot (Wii) for $9.98 (I have one and it’s awesome for gun games), Warioland Shake It! for $39.98, and Rayman Raving Rabids TV Party for $32.98.
