Best Buy also has Call of Duty: World at War for the 360 for $35. So if you stop by to pick either of those TV series up, you may want to give that a look, as well.

Maybe I’m the only one, but I do appreciate the odd great deal on DVD sets being cross posted here as I tend not to spend time on the movie board.
Amazon has the 360 messenger kit for $22.99 and Splinter Cell Double Agent (PS3) for $19.98. Amazon also has Madden NFL 09 (PS3) for $49.99.
DVD sets are nice if they are at impulse-purchase levels, like Band of Brothers was.
My thoughts exactly Tim. I mean, knowing that Hellboy 2 is $2 off on Amazon isn’t necessary, but if every season of X-Files were to go on sale for $14.99 each, I’m going to post it.

Wow, they’re really trying to get rid of those Xplorers. I picked up one for $10 a couple of days ago. Wish I had waited for this deal instead. I don’t have GH2 on the 360. I may have to return the single Xplorer for this bundle.

I want to thank you for posting this. Not only did I get two guitars, but since they are compatible with Rock Band, I finally was able to pick that up.
edit to say - Also, even though it says sold out online, you can use the pick up at a local store choice and still get the deal. My local Circuit City had a ton of the guitars and games available, and when I picked mine up, they had to go through a stack of similar orders to find mine.

Halo: Combat Evolved is on sale this week for half price on XBLM. $7.50 worth of points instead of $15. If you haven’t played it yet, I’d recommend it. It still holds up well on the 360 as a great split screen Co-op game and as a single player game. I still think it has the best campaign out of the trilogy.

Speaking of sales this Friday, I heard on NPR that the after Christmas sales, at least at retailers, are really huge this year, because they want to get rid of inventory really badly. I wonder if that will carry over to games? Probably not. It’s not like games take up all that much inventory space.
Well, except for the ones that come with plastic instruments. I wonder if there will be some super sales on Rock Band 2 Special Edition and its ilk.
