If anyone sees a Soul Calibur IV sale ( 360 ), hook me up! I’m unfortunately going on my 3rd copy now. I guess the disc is VERY fragile, and taking it in and out of the case will cause the center to begin cracking. That combined with the super fast xbox drive speeds will cause the crack to spider out into the data portion of the disc. I exchanged my first copy thinking it was a fluke, but now my 2nd copy did the same thing. I had since lost the receipt ( this is over the course of 4-5 months ), so i tried calling Namco-Bandai but no dice.

Mayhap you should stop using those game cases for all your games.

No, I definitely saw the sale price momentarily before their servers tanked. Left4Dead was $44.95. I’m guessing their sale went live prematurely. I’ll bet these same prices kick in a day or two after Christmas.

Circuit City is discounting a lot of their stuff today, including PC games.

Portal (just the game, not Orange Box) is $5.
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is $4 (Limited Edition $11)
If you’re a fan of the Diner Dash games you can get both for under $10 combined.
Baseball Stat nuts can get Dynasty League Baseball for $5
If you missed the Stardock sale earlier this month you can get Galactic Civilizations Ultimate Edition for $8 (now sold out online, but price is good in stores too).

Steam’s sale is definitely live now. I’m seeing a lot of great prices for games that I already own. Like Civ IV complete pack is $25, down from $50. Other prices are not as good as I was hoping. Like Crysis is only discounted 10% down to $27.

The one that’s really tempting me right now is World of Goo is currently $15, which makes it the same price as the Wii version. I’m still undecided on which version I want though.

Also, STALKER: Clear Sky is down to only $17.50, half price.

Might want to wait a bit to let the prices stabilize. I was looking not ten minutes ago and Bioshock was $18 (10% off) and now it’s $5 (75% off). They must have applied the 10% discount to everything and then gone in and applied the larger discounts.

Yeah the opening promo for the sale says it ends on December 31st, but then when you click on that, it says it ends January 2nd. Certainly a work in progress.

Good point. When I checked, Bioshock was also $18. I’ll have to check all the prices again later today. Too bad I already own Bioshock for the PC.
