Space Siege is well worth $12 if you have any interest at all in action/RPG, dungeon hack type games. It’s not the pinnacle of the form, but it is fun.

I did enjoy both Dungeon Sieges well enough. Maybe I’ll give it a second thought at that price point.
Both local Targets have NWN2 for $9.98. If yours doesn’t, just give it time. Go back like once a week and you’ll see the prices drop.
Assuming it doesn’t sell out first, of course…
Circuit City has Call of Duty 4 (X360) for $20 and Final Fantasy III (DS) for $10: sold out online, but should be the same price in-store.
Yeah, that’s the chance you take. I waited too long on Space Invaders Extreme DS recently and got burned. :(

How is Final Fantasy 3 on the DS? I didn’t really look for it during its release as $40 for a DS title was a bit much.
If anyone finds any deals on 360s, please let me know. Mine is all but dead- massive graphical corruption and an occasional single red ring of death-which is not covered under the expanded warranty and thus costs something like 120$ to fix. I’ll be darned if I am going to bother paying that much for a refurb that will likely die again sometime in the near future rather than buying one for a bit more with HDMI, 60gb HDD, and the Jasper improvements.
Anyways, if anyone finds something, thanks.
In this week’s Target ads (page 8), it says you get a $20 gift certificate when you buy a 360 arcade. It’s not much, but it’s something. Plus it’s at a physical store, so you can actually check to see if it’s a Jasper unit before you buy it. That deals lasts through Saturday evening.

There’s also a refurb 360 Elite for $260 over nyah.

Refurb might be kind of iffy, but since 360’s seem to randomly get possessed and die with no apparent rhyme or reason the odds of it living are probably as good as a new one.
Edit: Ah, here’s another one. Arcade holiday bundle for $170+tax.

Thanks for the help guys. I am trying to avoid the refurb squee, which is why I am not just sucking up the 120$ repair cost from Microsoft on my launch 20gb unit. I might think about this refurb elite though.
Ultimately, it’s all about what you’re willing to pay for the game. If you’re willing to buy it at a particular price, then buy it (unless they have like twenty copies on clearance, then you’re probably safe waiting a bit). If not, then don’t. If it never gets down below your price threshold because other people were willing to pay more, well…it’s sad, but you didn’t really miss out. Because the game simply wasn’t worth that price to you.
There are other possibilities. The refurb they sent me runs fine but always sounds diseased, which really puts me off of using it.
I’ve a pretty strong aversion to refurbs now.
The refurbs that I’ve gotten from Microsoft have been pretty good. They work flawlessly, running really quiet, until one day when one failed with a 1 red light error, and the other stopped recognizing discs put into the drive. Luckily, in both those cases, they keep extending my warranty. So as long as this latest one fails within a year, I’ll still be fine. So I’m relatively happy with the $99 I spent on my first repair. It was totally worth it for me.
I am jealous.
I think they told me the RROD warranty lasts three years …
Gamersgate is offering King’s Bounty for 50% this weekend. If you haven’t purchased this one yet, I HIGHLY recommend it. It’s my GOTY for all platforms, actually.
That good huh? Maybe I should give it another try. I got it for xmas and started messing around with it but I found it quite confusing to get into and brutally hard.
Damn, was about to post this myself, with big AROOGA AROOGA sirens.
