Also if you have a frys near you most of the HD DVDs are like 5-7 bucks.

Amazon’s Gold Box has the complete Deadwood series for $65.

Is that series awesome enough that someone that has never seen it would not regret dropping $65?

Its close. If you like the time period at all, totally get it. If you are more into buying hbo series…hmmm its a bit high still for the number of episodes.

Amazon’s Deal of the Day is Spore for $34.98.

iNetVideo also has a bunch of HD-DVDs starting from $4. Free shipping on orders over $49.

Today on Game du Jour: Depths of Peril for $10.

EDIT: Amazon has Battle for Middle Earth Anthology (BfME1, BfME2, RotWK) for $10. Not sure if this is a price drop or a sale, so get it while you can.

Also, the hint for the 2 PM (PST) Amazon Lightning Deal is “Welcome to New San Vanelona,” so it’ll be one of the Skate titles.

I’m not a huge fan of Westerns, but I love Deadwood. The cast (and casting) is excellent, and the writing (as long as you’re not easily offended by the F word) is very well done. Read up on the basis for the show if you’re curious. Personally? I was bummed when the series ended.

And the CS word. And the C word. And the S word. And the XQ word. And the R word. And the ‽4’א word.

Deadwood’s got some creative cursing.

Depths of Peril is a good price. I’m almost tempted by BfME but I think I’ve decided to skip it to save time in my backlog.

I just got an e-mail from Game dujour saying all of Introversion’s titles are discounted to just $8.30, including Multiwinia. Good deal!

EBGames has dropped the price of Rise of the Argonauts to $49.99. I’m not sure if this is going to be applied at other retailers or not. Amazon has it for $52.99 presently.

Wow. Thats definitely a must buy for anyone who doesn’t own Mount & Blade, and a lot of good content for your $7.50. Thanks Storz, and welcome.

I will definitely be getting Mount & Blade for $7.50. I haven’t had a chance to try the demo yet, but the various comments and impressions I’ve read and heard make the game sound like a true gem. Now I just have to track down a list of the most necessary mods to the game.

No kidding. There is no good reason not to pick that up. At least the sour economy has some advantages …

Last time I played it there were, like, three functioning cities and a whole lot of nothing. Still awesome even then.

GOG’s having a deal for the Jagged Alliance series.

$25 will net you Jagged Alliance, JA: Deadly Games, Jagged Alliance 2, and JA2: Unfinished Business.

I’ve been having a lot of fun playing JA & Deadly Games multiplayer with a friend recently and would heartily recommend the whole package, even if Unfinished Business is rather weak.

Yeah? I’ve never tried Mount and Blade. Guess I can’t really resist at that price!

The mounted combat in M&B is the best part, but it’s got a lot of other cool stuff as well.

It’s $5 at Gamestop/EB Games if you want a boxed copy.

Sorry to get away from bargains, but will Mount & Blade continue to be developed like it has for the last few years, or is it done completely now since it hit 1.xxx?
