There’s no need for that kind of sarcasm. There are plenty of ways to get a PS2 for less than retail cost.

Best Buy has Xbox Live Gold 13-month cards for $30 this week. Also on sale this week: Silent Hill 5 for $40; Mercenaries 2 for $30; and Battlefield Bad Company, Age of Conan, and Mines of Moria for $20 each.

I got bad company for 20 bucks 2 weeks ago. I was pleasantly surprised, it is a solid shooter mixed in with a couple huge dollops of fun.

Destructible environments + vehicles + artillery strikes = a lot of fun

Frontlines is an absolute blast. Well worth $8 for the single player alone. I never every played the MP portions and I paid full price on the 360. The game is really damn fun.

I’ve been flirting with picking up a copy for the 360 but I do still have a PS2 sitting around, is one version much better than the other? I figure they’re both probably pretty cheap at this point.

Go ahead and get Bully for the 360 now. It’s probably seriously cheap. The patch fixed almost all the stability issues. The extra classes are actually pretty okay and the extra missions are weird enough to be a laugh.

To be honest, I consider Bully to be Rock Star’s best game yet.

Anyone ever order from Play Asia? I ordered Endwar from them back at the beginning of December when they had lowered the price to $29.99… Never received the game, so I opened a customer service case with them yesterday. Since they shipped with normal post office, I guess there is no tracking, and while they said they are gonna attempt to find out what happened to it (will take 3 weeks), there isnt really anything they can do. This was the first and LAST time I will be ordering from them…

Huh, neat. You have to install their Game Downloader app (a lot like their Music Downloader app) but I’ve always liked Jewel Quest as a neat take on the Bejeweled gameplay.
