Damn, that L4D sale is going so well for Valve, they extended it until tomorrow (17th).
also, defense grid for $14.99 on steam.

I was wondering if it was some sort of GoGamer-style holdover longer than the advertised 48 hours.
Not sure if anyone cares about this, but while checking out the local going out of business Circuit City, they had Age of Conan 60 Day prepaid cards for $11.

I saw that the Circuit City I was at had Warhammer cards (60 days) for 50 bucks, marked down 40%. So… they are still too expensive??
Your mileage may vary with the circuit city stuff.

http://www.stootsi.com/ has guitar hero 2 with wired guitar for $22 new. I’ve seen it at $20 before, but this is a decent deal for another guitar if needed.

Thanks, I’ve been waiting for defense grid to go on sale. I have it admit it’s probably my favorite tower defense game, and I love the graphics.
YMMV but the Circuit City near me had all games down to 40% off this weekend, and still had a decent selection to choose from. The deals were slightly better on PC games than console, mostly because they marked all the console games up to $50 before putting the 40% tag on them, whereas PC games were priced anywhere from $50-$30 before discount. Still, there were some good recent games on the shelves for $30 or less.

The Circuit City here had a horrible game selection to begin with, and it’s not much better now that it’s been picked over, but there are still a few deals to be had. I stopped by there today and walked out with Penumbra: Overture (PC) and Just Cause (360) for $18 and change.
They have one Fallout 3 Collector’s Edition (PC) remaining. If I didn’t already have that, I’d have picked it up.
The one near me had a Civilization Chronicles priced at $36 after markdown. I agonized over it for a bit, but I already own all of them but 4 so I didn’t pull the trigger. The latest NWN2 Expansion was $18, and now I regret not grabbing that.
They had more than a few copies of Tabula Rasa on the shelves. I sure hope nobody buys one, as all sales are final. I considered gathering them all up and taking them to an associate to be removed, but I figured the people working there at this point probably don’t give a shit and would just put them right back on the shelf anyway.
Saints Row 2(PC) is $19.90 at GoGamer (48hr Madness)
Sounds worth it. I never played the first one.

Wonder if they’ve patched it. Heard it was hideously buggy at launch, even worse than GTA4 on PC. At least it only has Steam DRM, as far as I know. Unfortunately I don’t think it has GFWL so no achievements.

Yeah, they patched SR2. It did wonders on my rig (which is basically the recommended spec), but some people with monstrous machines said the patch actually decreased performance for them.

Civilization Chronicles regularly goes for $12-20 on ebay. I picked mine up for $14.99 (plus $9.95 shipping and handling). I was also in EB today and noticed that the same NWN2 expansion had dropped to $19.99 - not quite as cheap, but pretty close. Minimized regrets!
Sins of a Solar Empire is down to $20 at Best Buy and Target (in-store only).

My local Wal-Mart also has it at the price.

Gamersgate added Space Siege to their catalog today for $19.95. Thats probably the price that game should have been at release.

For those of you that are local to a Fry’s Electronics, they will have Dawn of War 2 for $45 (tomorrow noon) and they have Dragon Age for $35.
That would be a neat trick.

Maybe it’s some kind of pre-order card?
