As with most multiplatform games, it sounds like the 360 version has the slight edge in performance. It’s probably identical otherwise on 360 vs PS3.
Purely anecdotal, but with the PS3 version I’ve never seen any of the crashes that 360 owners complain about.

I have both consoles, but recently I buy most cross-platform stuff for the PS3. I also experience much less of the crashes that people report from 360 versions across most games.
For whatever that’s worth.

Target has Tom Clancy’s Endwar w/ wireless headset for both PS3 and 360 for $50 this week. Considering a 360 wireless headset costs $45 (on Amazon, $50 or more at retail), this might be a great deal for anyone also looking to finally pick up a wireless head set. That includes me. Does anyone know if the wireless headset in Endwar is good? Is it the official microsoft one, or a different one? And what about the PS3 one? Is that a good bluetooth headset, does anyone know? I don’t own any headsets for the PS3 yet.

Piggybacking on Rock8’s post, I saw Endwar for PS3 (no headset) for $14.98 at the Target here in Troy, Michigan.

I got the official PS3 headset with SOCOM and it is brilliant. Much better than the random Motorola one I’d picked up earlier. Highly recommend it.
Easy, and works well as a broadcast mic, too. Like, speakphone mode - whatever you’d call that for something that isn’t a phone.

it is the official one, I bought the bundle at bestbuy when they had it for $50 (right next to the game alone priced at $60 and the headset, too, hah)
I hated the game though, traded it off the same day, kept my headset.

Nice. I’m assuming you’re talking about the 360 version. The downside with the PS3 version is that I don’t know a single person who has a PS3, or any inclination of ever purchasing one, so buying a console RTS with no possibility of being able to play with friends seems like an automatic pass.

I’m not sure their ad is correct. It’s my understanding that only Best Buy sells the game+wireless headset for the 360. Target sells the game+Bluetooth headset for the PS3, which is the same Bluetooth headset packaged with SOCOM. All the word-of-mouth I’ve heard regarding that headset has been excellent.
Dawn of War 2 for $35.90 at gogamer.
With free (uninsured, slow, USPS) shipping.
Even with “Dirt Cheap shipping,” if you only order one game, Gogamer will First Class it to you. Takes just a few days.
If you order two Dirt Cheap, though, they’ll Media Mail them to you, which is slower.
They haven’t offered free shipping before, but even if it’s Media Mail on just one game, I think that’s still a good deal.
Stop complaining. Gogamer is awesome. I buy all my boxed PC games from www.gogamer.com !
www.gogamer.com , the best site on the web for your PC gaming needs! And yeah, they also do console gaming.
Amazon’s Deal of the Day is NHL 2k9 (PS3 & 360) for $17.98.
For those who own DoWII or plan on purchasing it, see this post for details on obtaining the Chapter Command Wargear Set from THQ UK for free.

Great, all great. That free wargear their giving away? That’s what those of us who preordered from Gamestop got. Guess its not exclusive anymore. For all this, I would have been better off getting it cheaper from gogamer.

Where do you enter the bonus code? In-Game? I obtained the code but I’m at work so can’t pop in ATM.
Those that use Twitter, definitely follow @Gamerdeals and @Videogamedeals.
Shame on you for not reading the entire page!
Once you have your code, all that’s left to do is redeem the code via the Games For Windows LIVE Marketplace.
BTW, you don’t need to launch the game to access the GfWLM.
