Is that the one that people were seriously putting in contention for 2008 GOTYs?
I think NHL 09 was the critical darling, not 2k9.

You’re right, I’m a loser. I was just going to come back and delete my post, but you were too quick for me.

Yeah I meant the 360 one. Inside the box is just the game and the headset in their normal packaging.

Space Siege is $8 at Half Price Books now.
I also saw the DVD collections of the National Lampoon and Absolutely MAD for $25 each.

Hm, did you see if they would offer a match? I mean, you’re within the period which you could send it back and rebuy the cheaper, right?
Not that you necessarily will, but that’s incentive for the store to give you a break.
Gogamer once refunded me the price difference on an item that went on Madness Sale soon after I bought it. However, I had to ask for it, and I buy a lot of games from them. Maybe they don’t do it for everyone; I guess it’d be annoying to have to keep doing it.
I’m having a really hard time not placing an order for Dawn of War II even though I have zero minutes in my day to play it right now.
I hear that. I bought it even though I have The Club (Tom Chick reco), Fallout 3, and Stalker Clear Sky unplayed. And the last two I also bought from Gogamer madness sales. Ho-hum.
Hey now, I think I recommended The Club even harder than Mr. Chick. Play it!

It is only 20 bucks on Steam. Is the PC version identical to the 360 one?
They’re the same game content-wise, yes. It plays differently with the mouse/keys control method, though I don’t actually know which one I prefer in this case.

I got the Club for free when Sega’s website was handing out CD Keys on their support website for some reason. I really couldn’t get into the PC version. It feels too consoley for the most part, so the mouse and keyboard controls feel distracting rather than accurate.
But it is a pretty good game either way.
Yeah, the PC version feels very inaccurate. That bothered me in the 360 version, but it REALLY bothered me in the PC version, because if there’s one thing I always expect in the PC version, it’s precision, and The Club on the PC with mouse and keyboard feels less precise than with the 360 pad, which is an amazing feat.
Don’t take my word for it, though. There’s a demo out for both versions.
For anyone who would prefer the PC version of Mercenaries 2 (although I seem to recall it turned out buggy & slow), Newegg has it for $15 w/free S&H.
Also, iNetVideo is offering free shipping on all orders over $49. They’ve got a lot of cheap HD-DVDs & (mostly crappy) Blu-rays. I didn’t notice too many deals among the games, but there were a couple, like Blue Dragon for $10 and Eternal Sonata (X360) for $13.50. They’ve also got a lot of older PC titles under $10.

I’m still waiting for my first order from iNetVideo (HD movies) - their tracking shows it was delivered on 2/7 but that’s not what my mailbox tells me. I have no idea where they dropped it off, if at all. Hopefully just an isolated incident from that site…
Update - they said they’re going to issue a full refund for my order. Great customer service…

My Unreal Collection should be in the mail when I get home! I can’t wait to fire up UT2k4!
Warhawk on PSN is down from $30 to $20 for the next two weeks. Also during the same timeframe the booster packs are down to $5 each or $10 for all three.
Amazon’s Deal of the Day is Sins of the Solar Empire Collector’s Edition for $19.98.
What’s in the Collector’s Edition?
