I signed up for the RewardZone and the Gamer RewardZone and I’m using IE7. Where is this coupon?
um, it was under like deals and promotions in the gamers club website area, and you can open up a printable coupon for the deal under the 20 dollars off PC games deal.
Thanks. I’ll pick this up during my lunch.

Thanks! Time to add to the backlog.
Between it being 20 bucks, my friends prodding, and the Tom Chick diary, I grabbed Banjo, thanks for the heads up. :)
I guess I’ll finally grab Crysis and maybe Warhead, too. Great deal, thanks.
Amazon’s Deal of the Day is Fallout 3 (PS3) for $34.98.

Thanks a LOT, Mysterio. I was waiting for a good Orange Box offer (yeah, I’ve never played HL2), so for 10 bucks, I’m in! Already signed up a printed the coupon. In addition I’ll grab Crysis and Crysis Warhead. 90 bucks msrp, 30 bucks with coupon. about 66% off. This, so far, is the deal of the year for me.

Crysis is pretty great… but I really need a new video card badly.
They didn’t have the Orange Box when I went there :(
Jesus, no kidding. But the Crysis games at $10 each is too good to pass up.

Steam is selling UT3 w/ the new content for $11.99. Also, you can play UT3 for free this weekend.
Stardock weekend impulse buys are up too.
I can’t believe Call of Duty: WaW still isn’t on sale for less than $50 (Best Buy and Amazon this week). Call of Duty 4 was on sale for $40 only a couple of months after release last year.
I picked it up on sale at Best Buy for $35 around Christmas time. Gave it a quick spin, decided it was too hard to distinguish the allied troops from whoever the hell was shooting at me (after a couple of scotches, anyway), and put it away. Still haven’t gone back, but I fully intend to.
Yeah, but it was $50 almost always, and still was last fall, and still is now. Activision’s trying to squeeze everything they can out of one of the few good things they have.
Empire: Total War is on sale at GoGamer for $35.90 + free shipping. Too bad it’s the import version.
I was about to order Empire and Dawn of War 2 from GoGamer. With one dirt cheap shipping (7-15 days are you kidding me) and sales tax, it works out to about 41 bucks a piece. If I wait that same length of time for local deals, I could almost certainly find it for the same price. GoGamer doesn’t look so good anymore with that logic.
Dirt cheap shipping is USPS first class if you order one game at a time. If you’re getting charged sales tax, you must be in Cali, where Gogamer is located, so it would be pretty damned fast. And USPS first class is still only 4-5 days even if you’re on the opposite side of the country.
Dirt Cheap is only 7-15 when you buy two or more games at a time; they Media Mail it. Stop whining.
Great call - Crysis Warhead for $9.99 coming soon to a home computer near me
I’m not whining, I’m making an observation. It’s what I think given their costs, shipping options, California tax and the prevalence of local B&M deals on games like this.
You don’t have to agree with it, but you can deal with a perfectly reasonable observation without the lame “stop whining”.
